I love stoneware.

I one day want to learn this as it would probably be the only way I will ever own an entire dinning and kitchen set:P

I want one done in blues and greens. It just costs so much to buy it. Cry

Thanks, guys! Smiley And totallyradmom, I completely understand. Thankfully, it isn't hard to learn! If you can find a place to give you lessons, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's really satisfying.

Wow you got some mean talents!

My favourites are the two bud vases, they're both so Japanese looking, but I especially love the one with the hickory/walnut ash glazing! That colour is just WOW! Ok, maybe I like both vases equally, because I really adore the assymetric shape of the bare one Tongue

I'm a new member and just wandered by your post (from 2009!) and stopped in my tracks! Wow! Your work is terrific and the glazes beautiful. I'm learning pottery - throwing on the wheel - and want to tackle glazes next. Can you tell me more? I assume the Cone 10 refers to reduction and not oxidation glaze in an electric kiln??? Am I understanding correctly? And I love the ash glaze! How is that made, if I may ask? I hope you post more work because I'll be looking for it. Wonderful!
