I started this ages ago but only just finished it... cut paper from magazines glued on top of an initial rough sketch. Not sure if this is the right place to post, I was thinking of paper craft but that's mainly books and things, since this is a picture perhaps it belongs here? I am really happy with it... it took me so long to find the right colour for the ribbon, I couldn't decide if it should be yellow or orange or green or red or whatever. I think red works though?

Detail of the eye, my favourite part:

and the whole thing:

Thankyou for looking! comments very much appreciated!

Wow!  That looks amazing!  The red ribbon really is eye catching, so is the eye  Cheesy

This is really neat!  I like the color you chose for the face and the way the red ribbon stands out.  Definitely the right color for the job.  Cheesy

A friend of mine used to do stuff like this in high school, except she'd recreate famous paintings (I think these were school projects and I'm sure other Craftsters had the same type of assignment).

Awesome.  I love the eye detail too.  I did one similar with construction paper.  It was of my boyfriend and the extra detail went into his tattoo.  Tongue
