What's LARP?

"For what do we exist, but to laugh at our neighbors and be laughed at in our turn?"

My stash of supplies is now Beyond Life Expectancy. I love personal swaps! http://www.wists.com/redmennis

What's LARP?
Live Action Role Play - fantasy type live action fighting/events - i.e., Dagorhir, Nero, Amtgard, etc.

I'm gearing up to make a set of outfits for my boyfriend, Mike, and myself for Bristol Renn Faire this summer.  I'm super excited cause it will be the first costume I get to make for him.  I'm going for an middle class, perhaps merchant, couple.

This is the design sketch for mine.  I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to do with that bit of decoration on the front bodice, but it felt that it needed something there so the swirly bits are something of a place holder.

And this is the sketch for my boyfriend's.  He even insisted on the pumpkin pants rather than straight breeches.  Hee, gotta love a guy that's just as excited about costuming as I am.

PS - Sorry for the links instead of pics, I had forgotten about the 10 post minimum for full photos.
