Great job, especially for a beginner! I think the size looks great for spring and summer nights.

I started as a knitter, too, and while I still knit I find it is easier to pick up and complete a crochet project and takes less time. Also, I love making cute dolls and crochet is best for that.

Thanks everyone! Looove the colour myself.

tamirive: The pattern was difficult to follow at first, but once I searched out some other opinions on it, it became easier to understand. And once you get going, it's pretty easy to remember, which was nice. But I wrote notes as well because I knew I'd be making some more.

Fringey: Thanks! It's just perfect for spring, and am hoping to wear during summer nights as well. I might make a bigger one for winter.
I'll always be a knitter, but I've found I'm in a big crochet mood now, I love being able to just put it down and pick it up so easily, not to mention if I screw up I can rip back without ruining everything, needing lifelines, or carefully picking everything up. And now I'm looking forward to using both together, something I always ran away from.

Wow, very talented.  Like eemmjj says, for your third project, you did a great job.  I made plenty of wonky dishcloths before I got the hang of it!
