Firstly I will apolgize that I do not have a little model as I do not have children and my family lives in a different state. But hopefully you will get the idea from the pics of the cute tie dye skirt.

This started as a little dress for my 1 yr old sister however I am notorious for not measuring and just sewing away and I ended up making the arm holes way to tight. So I cut it up and it is now a skirt for my 2 yr old sister instead. C&C always welcome!

Here is the front...that is not a random seam down the front, it just needs to be ironed.

Detail of the elastic wiast...which I used because those little ones grow so fast.

And the back...

I suppose that is what I did...sorry I just started sewing and never learned terminology. I used elastic thread for the first time and just sewed a few seams along the top. She grows so much so quickly so I didnt want to have to keep resizing the waist line.
