Here are a couple charcoal drawings I have been working on.









This one is charcoal with watercolor:

I like them, especially the spoon. I've never thought of combining charcoal with watercolors. Was it messy? I'd be too afraid of washing everything out, but yours looks very bright and colorful.

It wasn't really messy. I used Blicks water color from the tube (which I think is a little easier to control than other watercolors). The charcoal just sort of blends with the color, it worked well.
