my spring break has so  far been pretty unproductive, except for the Naked Lady Party i hosted and the few shirts i've reconned. ok, i get bored easily. but my mission now is to submit something to RM by the end of next week. hold on to your hats!

but i also agree about the trend of increasing superficiality and decreasing substance since readymade has "expanded its audience." my above post sounded really stupid when i reread it. what i submit to ReadyMade, if i submit something, will necessarily be original ReadyMade quality. otherwise, i wouldn't want my name attached.

Who IS this "expanded audience" ?   If we crafsters are complaining because the projects are not actually "do-able", and there are not enough projects, then the magazine has changed to appeal to people who want to do fewer projects.  The armchair sailors of the crafting world.  I am surprised at the implication of this move - that there are more armchair crafters than real crafters buying ReadyMade?

I wish there were more quickie projects listed each month. More items that dont take forever and dont use powertools.

I like what you say, you make me release tha quick projects are the best Smiley nothing beat the great feeling of a quickie porject, when you finish it.
