Hair help.

The underneath of my hair is bleached blond.
But its gone a bit browny from dying it with semi permanent dyes that havent come out right...
But atm it's quite a bright pink - non permanent, bout 10 washes.
If I were to dye it black...
Would it cling?
Or would it drop off the pink?
Or even the blond?

April xxx

More likely it would turn a maroon sort of color. My experience of dyeing permanent dyes over temporary ones is that they tend to mix, and the temporary one will take ages to wash out so that by the time you've got the color you wanted, you've got roots and stuff so it won't have the same, you know, dazzle. Or whatever.

best wait til your pink washes out, hon.  Tongue

Well, here (as promised) are pictures of my new haircut. I went ahead and dyed it, too. Here is a before shot:

well admittedly that was a few months ago, but yeah, honey brown, icky "i'm growing this out" cut. I got an even worse cut at the beginning of May. No pictures. I hated it that much.

So here I am, dyeing my hair...

And here's a shot of the side...

And the back... Yes, there is a lighter shade on the underlayer there.

I also dyed my roommate's hair blue, so here's a shot of us together post-hair-massacre.

Hooray! I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Grin No more icky hair for me!

So, this may be a very simple question to answer, i'm not sure. But anyway.. my hair is black right now.. and i want to change it to my natural hair color (which it hasn't been for at least four years.) what i was wondering was how i could have my hair done to look natural. my hair was at least three different colors (naturally.) dark strawberry blondeish/auburn, light brown, and dark dirty blonde.. what my question is.. is how to ask for my hair to be done to look more natural and not just one plain regular blonde color that makes my hair look completely fake?

my hair was dyed black several times and then i tired of it. i wanted my red back!! i was worried about bleaching it out, but it wasn't that bad. my stylist bleached it and then put a red over it. i like how it turned out a lot. although, it might be more difficult if you want your hair to be blondish. i know some of the pieces of my hair turned out orangish, but with the red over it, it didn't matter.

my bestfriend cuts my hair in exchange for lollipops and noodles. she's not got any pro qualifications, but i've got some hairdressing scissors and texturising shears and she's got the eye.
it's a good combination.

thanks bexiecat! Smiley
i'm half french, half italian, so blessed with naturally dark, thick hair. the key to it all is layers, straightening, thinning and a little teasing.
