I color my hair all the time.  I've only had it done professionally once because I hate, hate, hate having my hair washed, brushed, touched, looked at or contemplated by someone else!  I am a huge freak.  I've been coloring for over 17 years now and I have always stuck with relatively natural colors and patterns.  Mostly reds and auburns, sometimes a chestnut brown.

This is me in the summer of 2004 sporting auburn hair with chunky blonde highlights.  And no bangs, I didn't cut those till last November because they were making me nutty!

Here I am this afternoon, with my new, "Black/pink-was-gonna-be-red-32nd-Birthday-Denial"!  The most shocking part of the whole thing was the fact that when I showed up for Thanksgiving dinner, my Mom totally flipped out.  In a good way!  She loved my new colors.  Im going to try to "red it up" some this weekend.  I'm going to a local metal show tomorrow, and it's currently perfect for that.

I'm probably going to have to make the red a more natural color before Monday.  :-(

Terrible cell phone pics taken in the car on an overcast day.  Blech!

Here's my hair with the Tovi curl tut!  I love it and the tut is wonderfull!  Thanks Tovi!

Here's my hair normal.  I just dyed the underneath darker by a couple shades today so it doesn't look like this anymore.  I'll update when I get new pics.

Dread it girl!

i'm seriously considering it, but i'm paranoid that once i do it i'm gonna ant my old hair back haha.

I wish I could get my head out of the sand,
Cause I think we'd make a good team.
And you would keep my fingernails clean.
But that's just a stupid dream that I won't realize
Causes I can't even look in your eyes
Without shakin and I aint fakin
I'll bring home the turkey if you bring home the bacon
