When you  live with an animal who sometimes uses your carpet as toilet paper, you have two options. (1) You can throttle him; or (2) you can develop a sense of humor about it.

Woolite Heavy Traffic Carpet, Rug, and Upholstery Cleaner also helps.

I modeled this little kitty, in prime "scooting" position, after my own Mongo, who could, on occasion, benefit from toilet paper and opposable thumbs.  Oh well.  I did originally make a "streak" out of brown embroidery floss, but after uploading the first batch of pictures, I decided that some things are truly best left to the imagination.  That didn't stop me, however, from making use of the pink embroidery floss:

I gave little Mongo as a going-away present to one of my husband's co-workers, who's moving to Montana soon.  She's a cat owner too, and they made fun of this behavior.  At work.  A lot.  God help me, I think she liked it.

Big Mongo, however, was not amused:

Ha ha, that's awesome!  I like his little pink butt.

Personally, I think my cat looks hilarious scooting across the carpet on her butt as fast as she can.  I laugh the whole time I'm cleaning it up.

Ha ha ha ha ha, this is great. And that's the reason why my mother doesn't allow my dog getting near to the carpet  Grin

Little Mongo looks very happy teasing big Mongo

This is so funny! The fattylumpkins in my avatar doesn't scoot but he makes up for it with severe "accidents" now and again Smiley

bwahaha, this is hilarious!  My cat does this and I am simultaneously grossed out and amused.

I don't know what I don't know. But I want to know.

When our dog does that cute little maneuver....my hubby calls it "skiing"!

He looks at the dog with that goofy dog parent look on his face and asks her in a high pitched voice "Sunny, are ya skiin'? Are ya? Are ya skiin' again?"

That is so not funny....but dang it makes me laugh every time.  Grin

Thanks for sharing Little Mongo! And extra thanks for allowing us to use our imagination rather than including the brown thread. I just had lunch!

OK I soooo want one of these, can you do a chihuahua!?!?   HAHAHA Maybe just cats leave streaks, cuz my 2 chi's do this a lot and  never once have I seen a mark.  I think they're just scratchin' their "pink embroidery floss"... I deep steam clean about once a month, so I hope I am getting whatever they're leaving behind!  Too funny!

Lucky for me, my cat usually uses the kitchen floor when he gets poopy butt.  And of course when I put him in the sink to clean him, he gets pissed.  And I like the little pink butt.!
