I have been working on this bag forever and even contacted the pattern's author for help, but it was worth all my struggles.  Once I understood the pattern (my fault, not the author's) this bag was a fun knit!  Onegroovyday inspired me to make this bag for her for a personal swap -- she has been waiting a long time!

here's the bag before felting:

And here she is after:

I used Noro Kureyon (5 skeins)
Pattern: from this website: http://feltedhandbagworkshop.blogspot.com/  by Diane Sutliff.  She was really patient with me and helpful, too, when I emailed with my silly questions!

I am going to run this through one or two more felting cycles I think . . . what do you guys think?

I love the bag, and the colours are perfect. Does it retain some of the bumpiness after felting?

It is slightly bumpy, but I think with additional felting, it will not have much "bump!"

Rad! I really love it! Are you trying to get rid of the bumps by further felting it (because that'd probably work)? I really like it how it is right now.
