Fun with office supplies!

It was way easier than I thought it would be. Used Knitting Pretty's "Simple Sweater" pattern and Bernat's Alpaca/Acrylic Blend yarn. I've been doing basic knitting for about 5 years now and figured sooner or later I should try a sweater! This pattern is so easy (it's knit entirely in the round) I wish I tried it earlier. Only issue I had were gaping holes in the armpits which I can probably fix. Start to finish I could have probably done the whole thing in a weekend. Only bummer is now it's 100 outside so I can't wear it yet!

Congrats on your first sweater! Don't worry, you'll probably be psyched to wear it when cool weather comes again! And you could always bring it with you to a place that blasts A/C or wear it at night in the summer when it can be a lot cooler  Smiley

Nice job!
I have not attempted a sweater yet, and I've been knitting
for about 8 years!
You give me courage to try (when cool weather returns  Smiley
