This isn't excactly a completed project, but I think it's a good idea and I didn't know where else to put it.

A few months ago, I found this book about how to make different fabric angels, and I bought it because I know my mom loves angels of all kinds. Her birthday was Saturday, so I wanted to give it to her as a present. I started to think about ways to make the gift a bit more exiting, and I decided to make a kit to go with the book
.
I bought different kinds of fabrics and things to make some of the angels in the book. I also made a label for the kit.

The label says: "Your own angel :: to mom from Line March 26 2005 :: everything you need to make cute fabric angels - put together especially for you". And the back of the label is a table of contents.

Hope you like it (and that she will too) !

I like that idea. Instead of giving someone a project that's already done and will just sit on a shelf, you've given them something to do on a rainy day and something to think of you by. Very clever! I'll think of making something similar as a gift someday. Thanks!

Yes it's a great idea!
The label makes it look very professional. Would never have thought of that myself. Smiley

That's a good idea and it just might get your mom if she isn't already interested in crafting!
