I received a beautiful embroidered bird from SarahBlais today!

Here he is, hanging out in the red corner of my desk. Cheesy (Along with my typewriter, vintage clock, plate and whistle, and fantastic bowl, among other things. I have so much clutter on my desk, omg.)

Thank you so much, Sarah! I love him.

Blog ; Ravelry ; Wists ; Twitter

I play the web.

Personal swap friendly!

Alrighty, I made it!!! I would like to apologize for the delay and keeping these beauties from everyone!

First I received from Amaryllisroze.

Isn't she beautiful?

Next from Colorfuldayz...

Intricate and lovely!

Today I received from Avesthel,

Simple and pure, like Silver itself.

and from SarahBlais,

I am absolutely awed by this.

Thank you Thank you everyone!!

I would love to get together with others in the area and have a day of crafting while emptying that "extra" (is there such a thing?) supplies! If interested PM me!!

I just received 2 cute little birds, one is made from newsprint and watercolors, and the other following the spool pattern:

Love them both, the first is such a cool idea and the second, love the fabric choice.   Cheesy Not sure who sent them, but the return addresses said Jennifer in Colorado and Kelly in Ohio.  So hopefully you will both see this, thanks so much!   Wink

I sent the one made of paper and watercolors.  Sorry about my username, I meant to put a card inside and got rushed at the end.

I've been jealously watching the gallery fill up with all these wonderful birdies and now two of my very own have arrived!  Grin

First up I received a lovely colourful bird from OhThat:

Secondly I received a beautiful starry bird from Avesthel:

Thank you both so much! They are going to take pride of place by my window. Cheesy

It is really amazing to see all the different forms the birds are taking. The wire wrapped one is really inspired!

I recieved this awesome on from jrain a couple of days ago, and am just now getting the picture up. Very, very cool ...

I also recieved yesterday from OhThat, but it will be another day or so before I get a picture.

Yesterday the cutest little bird flew in:

His name is Bumble.  Don't you just want to hug him?  He is learning how to type on a vintage typewriter (very impressive for someone who has wings instead of hands).

But, he also brought his own bed and a gift for me too!  Thank you SO much purlgurl, you went above and beyond!!!

I received a lovely hand/tea towel from stargardener with a trio of embroidered birds!  I love the colors!  All the birdies that I've received so far have been my favorite color, aqua blue!

and a close-up of the embroidery.

Thanks so much stargardener!

I'm amazed at the variety of styles in this swap!

All of my photos are hosted at Flickr.
