Resurrecting this topic because I'm moving back to London next week. I'll be on the SW London border and I'd really like to meet some other crafty-minded people or join a craft group Smiley

Hi IzzyBee, I'm in the Berks/Surrey area- not too far from W. London Smiley

Where abouts? I'm on the north Surrey/London border, just inside the M25 and near Heathrow airport Smiley

We've just moved from Richmond to Windsor... so are also under the flightpath Cheesy

I'm almost directly in the middle of both places - I'm in Ashford, if you've heard of it? Luckily most of the flight paths just miss my house so I don't really have any problems with plane noise Smiley

Oh yes I know Ashford, not far away.

I've yet to find craft groups around here so you'll have to keep me posted if you find any. There was a quilting club I went to in Kew, near Richmond but that's about it.

Still haven't had any luck with finding any craft groups round here  Sad. There's a fair few craft shops locally though so people must be crafting, but everyone seems to be doing it hidden away on their own...

On a different note, the Renegade Craft Fair is being held in London next weekend (15th and 16th of September). Is anyone else going?

Bump. Who knows, maybe the right coincidence of people looking at the forum and people replying to the forum will happen one of these days. Smiley So hello, one and all! I moved to Hertfordshire around 6 months ago from Ireland, I go into London any week I'm not flying home and sometimes during the week in the evenings. I am pro meeting other people and other craftsters, for drinks, craftiness and friendly times. Me thinks a plan for a non pressure coffee/drink and craft of your choice could be arranged somewhere central-ish one of the weekends? After all, we're not obligated to all get along and become best buds, but how will we ever know if we never give it a try? Oh, my naive enthusiasm....Smiley
