I got my package from Perlabella, and let me say that these guys are just the cutest! And the purple one matches my craft room wall! Eeee! Cheesy

We each picked an amigurumi pattern to crochet for eachother. I picked the funky turtle, and she picked a bunny. The turtles are half the size of the bunny, so she made two to even out the stitchin'. I love the colours she picked for them! I hope she likes the colour I did for her bunny. I put so much into it that it was hard to send her off to be mailed out.

Look at them, all couple-y and cute. Kiss Kiss! Kiss

"Uhhh.... Which way are we goin?"
"I dunno, I can't decide."
"Lets go both ways together!!!!"
"Dur... Okay!"

Love them Perlabella! Thankyou! Smiley

And you asked me to name them, but I'm stuck. A little help please-ie please-ie?  Grin Grin Grin

Love the turtles!  I vote Todd and Maude.  Maybe one day I will learn to make amigurumi, so cuteness can follow me around and sit on my shelves Cheesy

I hope you had a great trip pseudo_pix - and didn't spend the WHOLE time studying!

I had the best trip! Berlin is such a wonderful city - one you'll return to again and again^^

Well I did use most of my time doing studying. But as I'm in design...school is fun (it can even be shopping=school in my line of 'work'). We went down there to visit DMY, a design fair for young designer. Super awesome^^

The Mitten Project is a year of mittens! Each week a new mitten and you get to choose which ones should be knit. In the end three pairs will be given away to you readers.

Knickertwist and I exchanged in person: here's the shots of her receiving the things I made her!

Coffee Time at the Bread & Roses Cafe (in Craftster attire, of course!)

Witchy Necklace

Witchy Brooch

"Thank Your Lucky Stars" Charm Bracelet

Mexi-Kitchen Tea Towel Set (one sugar skull embroidered, one chunk of edged fabric from Mexico!)

Pirate Paintbrush Roll

. . . and that's pretty much my shots!

But a close-up of a few things that I gave her:

Witchy Necklace (bubble definition, similar to one on her wists)

Witchy Brooch

"Thank Your Lucky Stars" Charm Bracelet

Pirate Paintbrush Roll - rollin'

Pirate Paintbrush Roll - modeled by my paintbrushes!

"Baggie of Whimsies" - knickertwist says she likes little items, so I checked my stashes and gathered a bunch in a baggy! (I also included some paper/ephemera and a sugar skull mold that didn't make it into my pictures)

Phew. And I think she will be posting pics of me receiving the things she made! (Which, note: I loved! Cheesy So stay tuned). Though I may be back to do close-ups of them. . .

Anyway, thanks knickertwist, this swap was loads of fun!

knickers! You never told us you were a model. I love how the bracelet matches your fingernail polish.

Cute witchy stuff, psyche!

SHOOT!  I knew I forgot something!  my dd was in bed when I took pictures of the gifts donniesgirl sent.

& now she is napping/yelling "OPA" in bed...I guess she and her kitty are having some Greek time.  Anyway, she doesn't get a commission yet, but she likes to play with money and this is a great way to talk about, count, and otherwise play with money.  I think she is learning something.  I want her to have a better relationship with money than I do...of course she will make her own mistakes, but they will be different than mine.

I will get those pictures taken and up as soon as Greekfest is over and she gets up!
