What the Frak???!!!

Well, in addition to decorating for Christmas (to be posted in the home decor forum) I made a few things...

Here is the entrance rug I made with the left over yarn from the afghan I made a couple of weeks ago:

Fimo'd some hooks to make crocheting easier:

First time Fimo-ing as you can tell by how ugly they are... LOL but they are really nice to work with...

AND I started crocheting a rag rug for my living room.  I am tearing old sheets, etc into 1cm wide strips and crochetting them together.  It is a HUGE pain, but I think it will be cool when I am done.  Here is the picture of the beginning of the rug and the hook that I modified with a longer handle to make it easier to crochet something so tough.  (I modified it by duct taping two chop sticks to it and putting fimo on it. MUCH easier to use!!!)

Fimo is a polymer modelling clay (make something out of it, bake it in the oven...) Fimo is just the trade name for it.

I love the colours you used for the afgan and the rug, those are probably my favourite colours, and I think your crochet hooks look awesome, just think you will never lose them  Grin
