So... I got on this huge crochet food kick. I ended up making like 3 sets of food for my kids and a few friends. I really had fun. You can knock out one piece pretty quick and before you know it have play food EVERYWHERE! My mother loves krispy cremes so I got a empty KC box and filled it with half a dozen crocheted doughnuts. She thought they were real until she pulled one out of the box. She thought it was the funniest thing. She now has them sitting on her kitchen counter to fool people when they come over. She tells them that they are fat free doughnuts. Besides the doughnuts I have had a lot of fun making the small ice cream cones. I have made a few of them and put a cat toy ball in them to make them baby rattles. I have gave them out at a couple of baby showers. Babies look so adorable playing with their little ice creams!
here is a link to the patterns that I have found ...

How adorable, I am going to make my niece a bunch of crochet foods to play. I was going to try some sort of beads, to make the rattling noise. But, thanks I'm going to try the cat toys.

Two many projects and ideas, but not enough time.

The cat toys work great and are very cheap!
