I am desperately finishing up my ren faire dress for this weekend (just have to gather the overskirt, get the boning i didn't realize i needed, and put the vest together, then i'm done!
of course, that means finishing all of that after 6:30 tomorrow night, since travelling will happen friday morning.. i think that's when i'll hand sew my eyelets on the train Smiley

after the weekend is when crafting should start for me!

You early finishers are nuts! How on earth do you do that? I get maybe an hour or two of craft time each week, in little tiny chunks, so I have to choose projects carefully...but I think I have come up with something my partner will love...and will get probably at the deadline, but that is what deadlines are for, right?
I agree, I like to finish a bit early but I could never finish this early!

I carve out my crafting time in small chunks too. According to my husband I'm a bit of a busy body!

I'm really excited about this and I've begun working on you swap item. You'll get your closer to the deadline. I agree that is what deadlines are for!

Ragdoll - RenFaire!  Huzzah!  Enjoy, I frequent Bristol out my way and have been longing to make some new garb.

I am 2/3 finished with my new endeavor, and will be supply hunting this weekend for the other 1/3!  So excited!

Always interested in personal swaps!  Either for crafted items or "oops" purchases. PM please!

I had some major technical difficulties the other day and had to put the darn thing down for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more work done today, though.  Smiley

OK, finally decided on what to make for xochristyt - I've never made one before, but I think I've got it down! And classes are finally over with, so I've got some time to craft. Not that I didn't craft during classes, but now I feel less guilty for spending my time this way. Wink

I started my project last night. It's super-fun to do, and I'm hoping to crank out a good portion of it this weekend. It's going to be fabulous! And my partner's pretty fantastic, too!  Wink
