My spring wardrobe needed a bit of fun, so I made this dress from some fabric my grandmother didn't want (I didn't dye it, it came in all it's glory like that).  I used McCall's M4444 pattern in view A, with a slight change with the bottom hem that I made.  It closes with a back zipper and hook and eye.  The staps also tie in the back as you can see.  I love it bunches and I wore it to school today and got some compliments Smiley  It's my new 'put me in good mood just by wearing it' dress Grin

Thank you so much both of you!  You're too sweet.  Yes I did use a pattern, McCall's M4444.  It was a great pattern except for a little confusion with the straps.  It took me about an afternoon and a little bit of the morning.  If you want a really basic tutorial I could definately make one, but since I used a pattern you'd probably have an easier job if you followed that.

Grin I got my shoes at Twice As Nice, a used clothing store here in Arizona.  They were only $5!  I bought them white, but I painted them yellow and over the ages the yellow's chipped off, but I still love them.

wow.
amazing.

Haha nice.  Thanks, too!

I don't really browse the clothing projects, but I have to say that's a cool dress.

Not crazy about the fabric, but I understand it is spring oriented so it totally works, plus you in it works well too... hehehe. I love the open back design! I can totally see it looking awesome with some other fabrics. Great talent Tongue I'd definatly whistle if you walked by (laughing)
