I made some origami out of pages from my parents' old novels. I really like this ring, something about the browned paper and the Chinese printing inspired me to make this Smiley The paper is sealed with layers of varnish for durability.

That's gorgeous. I can't believe it's made of paper and varnish. I love that it has special meaning too, and isn't just an insanely beautiful ring.

At a craft fair I learned to make a lotus with paper, yours just like it except for the leaves.
