I saw this poor little range finder at the thrift store and new right away I wanted to steampunk/post-apocolyptic it. So not wanting to take it apart, it still is accurate, I decided to take some polymer clay and make covers for all the writing on it. Then after I glued them on I thought it needed a little something more so I wire snipped some heads off of fining nails and added them. Some paint and Voila!
Opera glasses I've had for ages. They were looking pretty beat up so I decided to give them a little face lift. Just simple paint and rub on transfers nothing spectacular....They're going back in the case and back in my purse.

Range finders are like binnoculars. They use them for hunting around here.

These are totally awesome! I especially like the range finder redo. Hard to believe it is polymer clay. I just love that stuff! Smiley
