The hubby got this awesome dresser thing from a guy he works with. After airing it out, changing some hardware on it, sanding it down and oiling it up, lining the shelves and all that kind of stuff .. it was finally ready to be filled.  Yeah it still has scuff marks and stuff, but I really like that old feeling to it.

See my craft stuff in piles, baskets, bins and just everywhere in the corner behind my son?

The whole shebang

The pretty fabrics

I tried to make this pretty/pleasing to the eye, but it just looks kinda jumbled.
This is some of my buttons, my beads, a box of felt, my sewing machine, serger and some misc things.

Drawer 1 - Kids crafts

Drawer 2 - Sewing stuff

Drawer 3 - Misc craft stuff

Cupboard 1 - Bin of acrylic yarn, holiday fabrics, misc crafting pieces.

Cupboard 2 - bin of wool & cotton yarn, satins & fleeces.

Cupboard 3 - flannels, fleeces, minkee and then heavy/odd pieces of upholstry fabric and padded fabrics on the bottom.

It is soooo nice to know where something is.  I don't have to search through bins and baskets for an hour to get what I want!! Smiley  And my living room looks sooo much better.  I'm not embarrassed when people come over now!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

That is so awesome.  I wish my craft room looked like that.  It seems that each time I buy shelves, I am always filling them up with new stuff before I have time to sort the old...ugh.  You did a wonderful job and I think you should feel very accomplished.

Thank you!! Smiley  I wish I had a craft room too.... perhaps someday we can add onto the home.  I wonder if the kids will let me get a craft room before they get an extra bedroom.  Hmmm....  lol  In the meantime, though, all of my crafts have to be in my living room.  At least now most of it is hidden and the rest looks pretty. Wow, what a difference, good job.  I'm jealous of all of your drawers full of goodies Wink they look like they would be fun to play in.  I'm slowly building up a huge collection too, I just have to block out my man's comments when he starts complaining about all the stuff Roll Eyes Hmmmm, maybe he needs to get me a crafty dresser? ha ha

NICE work and your son is adorable. I just did mine, but still not as organized, and I"m jealous of the buttons. Enjoy your new space. I hope it inspires you daily.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!
