I have seen lots of felt food on the internet and Craftser and thought it looked pretty amazing and wanted to try some out for myself.  I went for a full English breakfast as I have seen several American breakfasts on here and wanted to do something a little different.  Also I wanted the food to look like food, so they were easily recognisable.

And all the food items that make up the breakfast

I had problems with the mushrooms but they turned out much better than expected after putting small pleats in.  I also didn't have dark red felt for the tomatoes so used a trustie sharpie and stitched the seeds over the top, I also stuffed it with a circle or card to get the flat edge but I'm not sure if this is a good idea if it were to be played with, any thoughts?

My decorated paper plate, just to round it off

Comments very welcome!

they look great!  you might want to put plastic inside the tomatoes instead.  like cut circles from lids or something.

Looks good enough to eat.

The mushrooms are especially great.

On an entirely different note i think I may need to start eating mushrooms with my breakfast (I have the tomatoes lots, but never mushrooms for breakfast before  Cheesy)

That's a great idea, thanks!  Had not thought of plastic, that would make them washable then which I was worried about.

Yum.Yum. Yum. This is the breakfast I want right now!!!  Awesome job.  Love the tomatoes and the mushrooms especially, just b/c you don't often see them, but everything is beautifully crafted, well done.  I hit this rocks.

I LOVE the mushrooms and the tomato slices.  I've not ever tried making food before but I adore working with felt so I guess it's only a matter of time.
