Tonight is the first night of Passover, and my husband and I hosted a seder for my in-laws.

One of the items that is present on the seder table is a plate containing three pieces of matzo, with a cover on top.  A few years ago, I cross stitched a matzo cover.  Every year, I pull it out for Passover, and I say to myself, "I really should add some flowers or something to this cloth."  And every year, after the seder, I put it back away and forget about it for another year.  LOL.  So it still just says "matzo".

Here's the detail of the cross stitch:

And here's the entire cloth.  See how lonely my stitching looks? Sad

Thanks for looking, and Happy Passover!

Happy Passover. It's very pretty. Flowers would be nice too.

I think it's beautiful just as is!

My best friends are from Israel. Or is trying to teach me Hebrew little by little, the only flaw being that he teaches me strange and or dirty things to say (and tells me it means something else) so that I'll say it in front of his mother...

How pretty! Plain, but pretty. I need to make one for our Passover as well; I was just thinking about that last night at our Passover dinner. We've been having ours with our in-laws, but this year was our "learning to take over" year so that we can start having our own. Which means I need my own Matzo cover.

It may be plain but the lettering is really pretty! If you still want to embellish it, now you've got it out, you could  always get started during Chol Hamoed Wink
