This was inspired by lindsycarranza's awesome pringles can organizer: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=241667.0

I was asking students to bring me pringles cans, but they didn't get around to it. Then I thought, pringles cans are very long and cardboardy. The plastic containers that powdered drink mixes come in would be perfect.

I will hang it on the wall in my classroom next week.

What a great way to use the cans!! And you made them look so pretty!!! It's like something you'd buy in pottery barn! Cheesy

Thanks guys!

I wasn't using pringles cans, I was using these things:

I like that I was able to just spray paint the inside and outside since these are plastic. If I did this again, I might try pringles cans because they are big enough to fit your hand inside. I did a number on my knuckles trying to tighten the bolts I used as connectors inside those cannisters. I guess you could mod podge wrapping paper or scrapbook paper onto pringles cans. I don't think they would survive spray paint.

I save them as well. IF I make cookies just small enough, I can fit a dozen in there! Smiley I sometimes make them for the troops in Iraq/Afghanistan, even if they break, then can shake the crumbs right outta the tubes into their mouths Smiley
