These socks are made from Sirdar Crofter DK wool, it knits up like fairisle, and cos its DK its quite quick. These are the first pair I made and the pattern is for straight needles, so I converted parts to socks I have made in the past... although the pic's show that they are very long... I used too big a needle and now they kind of slouch.. but its all good... their my new super slouchy socks...!!!!

And not all socks have to match...

Although these do backwards... if u see wot I mean (left sock first then right sock)

*Reminder note for me*

*Next time must remember to use smaller needles*

These are very pretty.  I like your yarn and that you chose a pattern doesn't compete with it.

They look so warm...I too am doing socks with a thicker yarn, and am pleased with how quickly they are coming along. The colors in yours are beautiful.
