I got this book for my birthday (which also happens to be the day it was released- it's fate!) It's full of interesting and creative crafts. Some of the projects are a bit Martha-y ( meaning they are a bit overcomplicated) but the detailed explanations of technique allow you to take the idea of a project and make it your own.

In the end the crafts you take are equal to the crafts you make

I'm totally bookmarking this project as I think this would make some cute decorations for Winter Solstice.  Grin

I love all of Martha's stuff. I keep hinting to my boyfriend that he should get me this book cause I would LOVE to have it. I got to meet Martha 3 years ago when I was in New York and she is actually really nice. I took a picture with her and everything. It was funny because my dad was the one who noticed it was her and he pointed it out to me, so I followed her and asked if I could take my picture with her.

I'm pretty sure the Birthday Fairy (played by me) will find a way to deliver this book on November 1.

I'm also certain Santa (also played by me) will have some of that glitter in my stocking on Christmas Day.  Wink

I love Martha! Her products hold a higher standard and quality than others do. The glitter colors are fabulous, and everything's better with glitter! I can't wait to get this book and glitterize everything!

I love this book, granted not all of these projects are original. I've seen many of these projects in my large craft books from the early sixty's. With that being said, I love this book for the beautiful photographs of the projects. The photographs are so beautiful they motivate you to actually create the projects.

I love, love, LOVE Martha's glitter. I freely admit I'm an addict. I got the sampler set with the 30 colors in it at Michael's craft store and I used one of the 50% off coupons! I recommend this glitter to everyone!

I haven't been able to find is a sealer that doesn't in some way diminish or dull the glitteriness (is that even a word?)

I never know what I'm doing. I just fake it really well.
