So, despite my my goal to finish a project before I start a new one (ha ha ha), I started this lace butterfly because it was pretty, and I was thinking I could make it for the mother of one of my lesson students. (I teach trumpet lessons) I think it turned out really great. I had to iron it out, because it kept folding in, but otherwise, not too bad!

I found the pattern here: http://www.mypicot.com/

oh wow, that's gorgeous!
my boyfriend always insists that, as well.. "you've got three different projects going! HOW?!!?" haha.
i'd personally buy a dowel and hang it on there, so it'd be like a pretty wall hanging. :]
what a wonderful gift!

yeah, i had the same problem with mine folding in, but then again i did use actual yarn instead of thread....
it turned out really pretty!!!!

come see my booties!

I need to get rid of stuff!! i have soap kits, bath salt kits, lip balm kits, plain canvas tote bags, fabric paints, and other stuff i'm trying to clean out. It'd be cool to swap for yarn, but i'll give it away FREE! PM me if you're interested!!!

(I know what you mean about finishing something before starting a new item.  I have about 4 afghans, half done, in my closet!)
