I love this shape and size!  I just think the fabric is so cool too.  I started by making one for my sister then I just couldn't shake the sewing bug.

The one by my sewing machine was the first one I made for my sister.  I used a coordinating fabric covered button as an accent.  The others I used a metal grommet.  I like these better than inserting a snap or magnet because they add weight and keep the flap closed and you don't have to fumble to snap and unsnap.

I've got more of his fabric from the same collection I'm making more bags with.

And thank you to yorkiemischief  who posted a link to the pattern below!!

The fabrics you used are wonderful.  Did you have a pattern for these bags.  I really like the shape and size.

Great bags! I second the question, do you have any pattern info on the design?

I just love those colors! Gorgeous! It's hard to find purples or plums that really work for every day.

For everyone wanting a pattern: It looks like the Keyka Lou Half-Moon handbag.  I made one regular size (great for a special occasion) and then enlarged the pattern to make a bigger everyday purse.

Here's my "big" version:

Here's the KeykaLou pattern:

Hope that helps everyone who wants to make one!  KeykaLou patterns aren't just patterns but they are full tutorials with pictures and everything.  Her patterns pretty much taught me how to sew!
