I just ran to my basement and grabbed the first big shirt I could find, and have already cut the sleeves off. Thanks so much for this! I've been in a slight crafting slump and this is just what I needed. Smiley

I know what I'm going to do with all those t-shirts I have stored away! Those look so comfy. I don't do yoga, but I'd probably just wear them as pyjamas or comfy clothes, anyways.
It's also super cool how the design stays as a whole. The fact that you handsew everything is neat, too (I don't have a sewing machine, but at least I know it can be done by hand!). Great tutorial, and great pants.  Cheesy

Ah! These are FANTASTIC.
This is really my first piece of clothing that I've sewn, and I must say...it didn't take me very long to put it all together. I still have to attach the waistband to the actual pants, but other than that I would say I've put in maybe an hour of work. It probably would've gone faster, too, if I wasn't sleep deprived. Haha!
I also made the waistband using the sleeves. That works reeeeeally well.
Thank you SOOOO much for posting this!

This is so awesome! I really want to do this with an awesome teal button up I got at a garage sale. Anyone have any tips for making the waistband on pants that don't have very much stretch to them? Would it work to use a t-shirt for the waist band, like the tutorial? Or would it require some sort of zipper to make them fit over my hips? Thanks in advance!

I have been looking for something like this for quite a while.
I've made a few pair of yoga pants out of t shirts before but cutting through the images just ruined the look i was going for.

great tutorial! =]

İ love this! I also sew by hand and I can see how much work goes into your work, kudos.
