I would much rather invest in the lost trades of all the handmade skill left in our society, than feed the blood-soaked steel teeth of the reckless, greed consumed monsters (you know who you are) devouring what's left of this rare, and precious Earth.

I'd rather swing on the moon than a star.

I think my favourite banner is the one that says "bringing sexy back"!

My husband saw some old craft books a while ago and wanted to know why I didn't make a macrame owl.

This is an April Fools' Day joke, right? I mean, hey, tying knots is great, if you want to do that, but the new color scheme is too hideous to believe. Cheesy

Edit: Oh, I guess I missed the proper timing for the joke. Time change defeated me!

The only macrame I've ever made was a key ring made from orange plastic string.
So I am glad I'll get the chance to branch out and use real string now.

Unfortunately, I had no time to check upon craftster yesterday. And when I entered today, I only noticed a slight change in the overall colour scheme.
But nothing was dawning on me.

The the first hot new project' that catched my eye, looked like an crocheted underwear set that for some reason did not have the comfy look that you expect from such a set. But I saw it, and I clicked it. Apparently the word 'macramé' was catched by some braincells, because while waiting for the picture to load, I remember thinking 'wow, someone macramé-ed a bikini!'
And now I wonder why this craft *ever* fell out of use. Maybe I should ask my parents if they still have the purple plant-hanger that I was once forced to make at primary school. And of course kindly donated to them :-)

I really think that  Macraménet.net. rules.
(And I hope I get the owl here)

EDIT: Ooooh plant-hangers. Even better!
