Hi guys

I completed this last night, but I am not happy with the flap, any suggestions?

I was thinking of doing a couple of lines of crochet on the underside edge in the hope that it would add some weight.
Many thanks, Sam

I like it a lot!
I like the textured stripe thing.
Not sure what to do with the closure, but I do like the orange buttons......  Smiley

Could you put buttons at the corners, where it's curling up?  The only other thing I can think of is to add a few rows of plain garter stitch so it doesn't curl.  I'm not sure, but the front sure it cute! I love the lime green.  Smiley

Nice job!! I think extra buttons would look really cute.  Smiley  Or, have you tried blocking the flap with water?

snaps, I would sew little snaps on the corners.

I like it though, really like the color.

Hi guys!

Many thanks for your advise, I have ordered some clear press studs/snaps off ebay and I am going to put one in each corner, to see if that works. Whilst looking for the snaps I came across some gorgeous crochet flowers and roses for the bargain price of 1.50 or around $2!! So I will be able to hide where I have put the snaps!!

Thank you for all your comments on the wool, which I also purchased off ebay, it comes from Turkey, but only took 2 days to get to me in the UK and they have such lovely wool, here's the link:
