This most definitely rocks!

I can't believe you did this in Tunisian using your own mind as a graph! Excellent work!! I love it all and it looks so authentic.

This is such a fantastic project - I really love how it reads like a comic. It turned out beautifully! So few of us undertake projects of this size, and so I'm always in awe of people who do. Well done!

HOLY CRAP!!! This is sooo awesome, and I like how big it is. How much yarn did you use, I wonder.
I can't wait until I'm this epic enough to do projects like this.

Thank you all again!!  I'm simply blown away by the responses- seriously- wow!  I was just so stoked to have a "hot new project" on here- can cross that one off my bucket list.  Grin  I can't believe the number of views this thread has received...where the heck was it posted to draw so many folks here??

I just weighed it- it's 7 pounds, without the border, but with many of the ends still on there.  I was a little shocked, actually- it feels like it's at least 12 pounds...sitting on my butt all that time has made me a wimp.  So I'm assuming that it will still end up weighing 7 pounds (or just a bit more with the sheet backing), but all together, I probably will use a total of about 7.5 - 8 pounds of yarn.  Oh yes- it will definitely keep us warm....good thing it's not spring or anything....  Tongue

That's just insane. Great work! You might think about using a fuseable backing. That would help keep the yarn ends in place.

Anyway, super job on Super Mario!!!
