I usually don't post projects because most of what I've been making lately is for swaps, and are therefore posted there, but then I realized that not everyone reads the swap boards, so I'm posting some of my favorite items I've sent over the last year.

First up is the fleece Pac Man blanket I made for 2711 for the 12 Days of Christmas Swap. The blanket itself is black fleece, the blue "walls" and the Pac Man and ghosts are fleece as well. They were machine sewed onto the black fleece. As Fleece is reversible and doesn't fray, I didn't put a back on it, just sewed very carefully and neatly Wink For the edges I cut fringe from the black fabric (actually, Jenicat helped me by cutting the fringe as I was trying to finish literally about 30 projects at once). The yellow dots and the red super dots (don't know the technical Pac Man lingo) are fabric paint - I decided that would be faster and a hell of a lot easier than trying to cut hundreds of tiny yellow dots out of fleece - not to mention trying to sew them all on straight. I actually like the dots better this way than I think they would have turned out had I tried to sew them all on, so my semi-laziness paid off Wink I also fabric glued googly eyes onto the ghosts. The most challenging thing was getting the blue walls just so. I wouldn't have been happy if it wasn't pretty close to exactly what the board in my picture looked like, so I spent a LONG time cutting out the little shapes and trying to get them all to fit together just right.

Anyway, enough of me rambling, on to PICTURES! Grin

The whole blanket:

Close up of Clyde (who became Sue in Ms. Pac Man - who knew sex-change operations on video game characters were possible in the 80s?!? Wink):

And for fun, the pillowcase I made to go with:

Yay! Hope you like it! Grin
