dancingqueen, that apron is splendid, but OH THE SQUIRREL!!! He is soooo cute.

My curtains are made from Amy Butler's Acanthus Duck. My kitchen is orange, and I hated it. Then I found this really cute turquoise and orange recipe box and just kind of took it from there! It was the only JUST turquoise and orange fabric on Etsy, so I'm lucky that it is FABULOUS. I don't mind doing dishes by hand when my view is framed by those!

Ok - I've looked through this gallery several times with my mouth wide open in awe.  What talented gals are in this swap!  I've decided that since everyone had so much fun making those aprons for their partners  and did such a great job that I will graciously stand by and let you all make an apron for me.  Wink  I'll just sit here patiently waiting for these beautiful aprons to be mailed to me and live in apron heaven... Roll Eyes.

Seriously - ya'll all rock - what great items were made and swapped!  (that squirrel is awesome, I can't crochet but love those ami figures everyone does!)

Hi everyone I am so happy to see everyone back and kids feeling better.
"attack squirrel" LMBO you crack me up that's so funny.
I have to give credit where credit is due  SPOTNIK made the squirrel for me to send in this swap.  She is an awsome craftster and artist.  She made that pattern from her head for this swap for me.  So thank you SPOTNIK.

I also want to thank our AWSOME organizer PerachYafeh

Here are some pictures of the apron that I sent to my partner, juniorpink.

it made a simple lined half apron using a tutorial from tipnut.  my partner is really into trims, so I added some rows od ric rac.

for the embroidery on the pocket, I used an iron-on embroidery pattern that I had from the Stitch-it Kit by Jenny Heart.

I also made an embroidery needle keeper with my initial on it

(kinda blurry, my apologies  Smiley)

I love the fabric and the rick rack, AND the embroidery just kicks it over the top!  Lovely job, Craftastrophe!
