I've been doing block printing for a few weeks, and clearly, "hand printing"/feet printing is clearly not the best: it left "holes" in the prints, and if you don't want those, you have to spend to much time feet printing.

So I'm considering making a press!

I found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8pTri90JoE&feature=related on you tube, and I'm starting to run the plan to make one like that

So maybe that all together we could make a great blockprinting press Cheesy

I love personal swaps,  I print a lot of random fabric, usually with no purpose in mind.  let me know if you want any of it.

Hey, how did this go?
I do a lot of block printing - I just use a baren (flat disk, wrapped in bamboo leaf) and burning the paper onto the block. People also use spoons or rolling pins.
