This is so great! I just finished an '80s craft-a-long on my blog and this would have been a perfect project. I will definitely be stitching this for myself.

I bet it would work fine for knitting, crochet, needlepoint, perler beads... I guess the only challenge in knitting is that there would be some rows with a lot of space between white stitches.

I think I read something recently about cross stitching on knitted/crocheted objects, too, though I don't remember where.

If you try it out, let us know!
