I sort adore anything milk glass and have recently begun making florals in various milk glass containers as a way to justify acquiring more.  I thought this was pretty and springy and made a similar one for my mother to use on her Easter table this year.

I covered the flowers in glue I'd diluted a little for the purpose and glittered them.  It was kind of difficult figuring out how to dry them without them sticking to anything. Smiley

I had some iridescent tulle left over from making my little niece a tutu and it struck me it might look pretty with the glittered flowers.

Cute.  I adore silk floral myself... even if it's not a hard to do craft, it's still an awesome looking one with a cool end result.

It will look fabulous on your mom's table I'm sure!

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
