So I've been making lots of these crochet cake treasure boxes lately, most for swaps, and I'm uber proud of them so I thought I'd post them in their own thread lol  So here they are!

First, a Strawberry Cheesecake treasure box that I make for a personal swap with DesignVigilante, based on her idea Smiley  It was pretty big lol  Like the size of a very large real cheesecake!

Next, a Hostess cupcake treasure box that I also made for DesignVigilante.  It's pretty small, though I don't know the exact measurements since I sent it off already lol

Second, a Peep into Spring cheesecake box.  I might keep this one just for me lol

Oh and what's this?  An added bonus surprise???

Yay!  Bubbles!

Last, the first cake box I made, and Oreo Cookie cake box that I made for sushiluvzombie in the Chocoholics Swap.  It was a big one also, probably the size of an actual big cake lol

As you can probably tell, I'm having lots of fun making these!  It's like my new favorite thing!  I've got a couple more ideas in the works, and I'm always looking for new ideas and inspiration.  Also, I really enjoyed making the ones for the personal swap!  Feedback and new ideas are always welcome!  Thanks!

I don't know what it is about knit and crochet sweet items that I love.

Yours are exceptional. Absolutely wonderful work!

I love having junk food about that I can't eat. All the fun of a real cheesecake (almost) without the mess or calories. Also, you canm store stuff in it.

Your cakes are so expertly-made, they look more delicious than the real cakes at my bakery!  I would literally gobble up those crochet desserts, yarn and all.  Shocked
My compliments to the baker!

These look AWESOME. What about a pineapple upsidedown cake? I think that'd be neat. I have a soft spot for peeps so I really like that one. The oreo cookie cake is really neat too, and is the strawberry...well yeah they're all really neat lol.

Yay finally done moving!

Thank you all so much for the compliments!  I have so much fun making these, and I love hearing that other people like them too lol

oooooo  A pineapple upside down cake!  That's a great idea PinkyYarn!  I've already got two ideas that I'm trying to shape up in my head, and you've just made it three!  Thanks!

Those are really cute and kind of funny. Very nice. I particularly like the oreo cake; the detail is fantastic.

I thought the top one was a Target bullseye at first. I like the cake idea much better. Very nicely done!
