So, my husband is a hunter, and who knew a hunter needed such an extensive wardrobe  Roll Eyes Anyways, I'm going through today to wash them (and of course, they can't have scent on them, so he needs special detergent for them) and was packing them away in these wonderful items called space bags for the summer. My question is, I would love to make something to make sure they are scent free over the months.

I wanted to make something with baking soda, that I could throw inside the space bags while vaccum packing them. Now sachets would cause the baking soda to be thrown around all over his clothes, even a cheesecloth. Anyone have any ideas? Or is there something I can mix baking soda with that will harden it into a bar that won't crumble or give off dust?

Remember, whatever I use can't have any fragrances!

Thanks Smiley

Well the trick with baking soda is to sprinkle it on and then vac it off, so you could always just throw it over his clothes then clean it off with one of those hand held vacuum thingamabobs.

I don't know anyway to compress it into a bar though, I'm sure you can somehow, but it's beyond me!
