Yarn and plastic canvas backed with cork.  The hardest part was getting it to look cactus-y!
(Please excuse the wet mark.  Had to lift up my drink to take a picture!)

These are wonderful, although I've never seen a cactus in real life, and I don't have a coffee table, I still like them!

Thanks!  Yeah, I just cut the plastic to size.  I like doing stuff like this because it feels like a puzzle!!

I've made PC coasters before, but lined them with felt.  You'e just given me an idea.  I have a set of 4 square pieces of cork that I can use to back some coasters.  I may have to make a set now.  Thanks for the idea.
