It turned out beautiful! I have that book too ... I was just looking through it yesterday and thinking about starting a Lone Star quilt. I hope mine turns out as awesome as yours does.

That is so pretty!  I'm planning on making one someday - add it to my massive list, aye?  A friend of mine and I are doing stars right now - working our way through the Simply Stars quilt book and then will top it off with the lone star.  I saw it done up on Fons & Porter and was really taken with it - as usual - what's not to like, aye?  It's just sharp!

Awesome job - and now you have to make something for yourself already!!!

I am collecting quilts, afghans & blankets for those that lost their homes.  Pm me!

What a beautiful quilt. I'd be so tempted to keep it for myself. I'll definitely need to check my library for that book. Luckily they have a pretty good selection (although the popular new ones are often reserved for weeks at a time Undecided). I'm sure the bride and groom will cherish it for a long time.

This is great!  I love the swirl coloring in the star.  I'm planning a lonestar right now & trying to think about how to do a swirl made my eyes cross.  So I don't think I'll be doing that.  Wink

I am collecting cotton Hawaiian fabric scraps for a quilt if you wanted to send any my way!
