If anyone in the US is wondering about packaging their birds to mail out, maybe this will help: I went to the PO yesterday and picked up some small Priority mail boxes to send the birds in. They're the perfect size, and they're free. The postage is figured by weight, but my birds are pretty light, so I don't think it will be too much to send them all out. I looked all over my house for 5 small boxes and couldn't find enough, so this was a great solution. If your birds are flatter than my plump little beasts, the smallest size flat rate box might work for you. Neither of these boxes can be used for an international send, but if you ask, maybe they can help you with that as well. Luckily, I already had one perfect sized box here for my overseas birdie.  Smiley

Ooooh, the overseas birdy would be me, right?

How exciting.

I'm getting quite attached to one of my birds. The little critter has such personality!

I think I'm done with mine. I'm still mulling over one detail that I can't decide on yet.

I will be shipping to my first batch of greenies soon.  Smiley  Maybe by this weekend, or sooner if more people go green before then.  Smiley

I'm off to make my last bird. I will hopefully get the little creature finished by tomorrow, making me green super soon.

I still have three to go. One will be a matter of a few hours. I have no idea about the rest - I might go all pretentious artist on one, and do the final one like the two I've finished already. It just takes all day to make one - I'm a ridiculously slow knitter. Tongue

I'm a little confused...should I be sending out already?  One other person and I in my group are green lit, but the rest aren't.  I thought we waited until our whole group was done?
