Owls would be the obvious choice, but I'm sure there must be other kinds.

I wonder if I can find some cool macrame bird patterns.

This is just what I've been thinking. I loves me some macrame.  Grin

I didn't plan for it to work out this way, but if anyone is looking for patterns/ideas, this is Easter season and A LOT of blogs have tutorials, patterns, links, etc.

Serendipitous!

I was so confused when I pulled Craftster up just now. And then I remembered that yesterday was April Fool's, and that the US is in a different time zone. Tongue

I haven't started yet, but I have a few ideas. Cheesy

I've finished a prototype that I'm really pleased with so today I'm going to start working on the real birds! Unfortunately I don't plan to include any macrame in them Wink

I have abandoned the macrame idea.  Cheesy

I finished my prototype, too, and have started working on all my birds. My poor family has adjusted to eating meals with one end of the table occupied with half-formed birdies. I've really been having fun with these.  Smiley

I'm almost done with all of my birds.  It's true what they say, the busier you are, the faster you get things done because you obsessively worry that you're NOT going to finish  Cheesy

I'm busy finding alternatives to polyfill stuffing. I have a small wad but you can't really buy it here.

Any ideas for substitutes?

(Oh and I nearly posted this beginning "I'm busty and finding..."). I should learn to type!

you have been cracking me up!
try paper shreds, I keep my scrap thread and fabric and stuff to stuff things I just can't bare to part with them and waste things.

I can't believe some people are that far!  I have been doing a lot of thinking, but no real work to speak of!  woops!  maybe I will get  a flash of inspiration!
