Maybe the Hamilton people should start a whole new thread for their meet up?? Just to make this one a little less confusing.

It's awesome that there are so many people in Hamilton that you can all do your very own meet up.

It wasn't till I moved to Toronto that I realized I had craftster peeps to meet up with Smiley

As long as they still feel welcome at ours.

There's the Future Cafe on Bloor and Spadina(ish) It's large, no couches, but a big patio.

how many of us here are actually in hamilton.
there is a great breakfast place/ gallery on lock street!
maybe a pre- meet up is in order Roll Eyes

Even though I started this thread (because people kept talking about it in random other places!), I'm actually in Hamilton. Or at least the. . . GHA? (I'm in Ancaster).

I'd be up for Hamilton. . . but Toronto too!

Futures could work, the only problem is that it's ALWAYS packed. I can't remember a time no matter the time of day or week that I have actually been able to get a table right away (unless by myself). But, it's true, if we went in a few months when the weather is better the patio would be a good option. Or there's the green room around the corner as well. They have couches and it's virtually dead in there during the daytime.

I think we should explore the Moonbean cafe. http://www.moonbeancoffee.com/scripts/retailstore.asp
That was what I was trying to write about earlier.

Oh i love that place as well Smiley or just kensington in general really. It's accessible by ttc so nobody should have too hard of a time getting there Smiley

(I suppose aye's and nay's are in order?)

and now to decide a time...suggestions? I'm gonna be relatively busy 1st and 3rd week of april (stupid school) but anytime else would work well Smiley

Hello fellow Torontonian (and Hamiltonian?) Craftsters. I'd be up for a meet up sometime. I really really like the idea of a mini swap. Perhaps everyone brings a 1-2 point swap item (wrapped?) and we do a little gift exchange?

I work 9-5, but Moonbean would work for me as I work right near there.

I've never been but I've heard of Moonbeam, I vote that, nice and easy to get to. I am way more open in the early noon since I work and have class in the eve'. But I guess some of us do the 9-5. Maybe a Saturday or Sunday afternoon? :: grin ::  Doyoulove...I like the gift/swap idea.
