This is my latest finished work.


Materials: Orange silk dupion (cut on the bias), dark raw silk, dark silk organza with embroidery.



Materials: Grey wool/silk handwoven. Leftovers from a skirt I've mad before.

There's a description of how the top was made at my site.


The original plan was to use other fabrics for the dress, fabrics which matched the grey fabric better. I had to change my plans cause there was not enough fabric. But in the end, this look quite cool, cause it's not a prefect match.

I generally don't like the color orange, but you made it work in this dress. It's really pretty, and something I'd definately wear (if I ever wore dresses)

the orange isnt really a colour i would choose Grin but the dress looks awesome, it has a great shape and i think both of them together look great.
