I want to rearrange my living room, but I have no idea how to.

Basically, I don't really have any walls in my living room. One wall there are nothing but doors that lead to the garage, the other a giant window, the other only a fireplace and the hallway, and the other wall is open to the kitchen and dining room.

Here are a couple from when I first moved in a couple of years ago:

And here is the furniture I have now:

I'd really like to move the furniture around somehow, but I don't have a clue as to how to make it look good... help!

How about...
- Moving your TV next to the fireplace, where the green chair is in the pic from a couple years ago

- Across from it, angle the longer of your two seating pieces (at least, I think one is longer - or are they both two-seaters?). It would not be at a 90-degree angle with the fireplace, more like 120 degrees.
- Lay the rug to flow from the couch toward the television, again at an angle to the fireplace.
- Position the loveseat along the side of the rug, forming an "L" with the couch.

Also, looks like you may want to hang the brown-and-white poster lower...hard to tell from the photo.

Sorry it took me a while to respond, but thanks for the ideas! As for the TV, it has to stay there because that is where the satellite hook-up is. I think I might try the angling thing though but facing where the TV is now.

You are right, that poster does need to be lowered at least an inch or two.

I've never had satallite. Isn't it possible to add cable to extend where to place the TV? I've only had cable tv but we bought stuff from radio shack to have a little more versatility in placement. I think it would suck to be forced to keep the tv in the same place all the time.
