What a beautiful tribute to both of your Gand Parents. Let her talk about her past as much and as long as she wants - this way, for bit, she feels closer to her husband. I lost my husband 1 1/2 years ago and he too died in my arms.  This was very touching.

Well that brought a little more than a tear my eye.  I'm still blowing my nose.   Smiley
What a wonderful tribute to what I am sure is still a wonderful love.  Your work is beautiful, well made, and touching.  I am sure your mother will treasure it.  My grandfather, too, died young.  My grandmother never remarried and when I asked her why she told me "He may not be here but he's still my husband."  Your grandmother, in a way, has the gift of being able to relive those memories as if they were new.  Blessing to you and the her.

Thank you all for the complements!  I was worried that I loved it so much just because it is so close to my heart.  It really pleases me that others are touched by it too!!!

The song, the story, and the beautiful artwork are all so wonderfully touching.  It is a beautiful tribute, and a true display of love.

yes it actually "works" in the artistic sense, where the whole idea makes a lot of sense and attacks our feelings so that we get what you meant by it.  (sorry, "attacks" is not the right word but i am low on words right now)

creative criticism always appreciated!
