Don't  have the professional pics back yet but here are some

and the only one i have at night so far

SO i've started my crafting for my wedding in July and it will just snowball from here i guess! lol
The pictures are the best i could do, my camera and I are fighting.

The invitations. I love swallows, i have them tattooed on my ribs, it's one of the things that my other half loved about me, there was no other choice then to have them be part of the wedding.

The photos are from istock and I just altered the colour to make it match our wedding colours, i then got them printed at staples then cut them all and the brown paper they are mounted on.

The favour tins. We both LOVE wasabi soy sauce flavoured almonds, and he is from california (i'm from B.C.) so we figured it was perfect! So we are going to fill them up with those and bring a little of california to BC.

The tins were bought at Michaels (when i still worked there and got them on sale), and then i tied ribbon around the lid, which is secured with a little glue just to be safe, then i stamped the top with fabric paint (couldn't get a nice pic of the top part).

Anyways, it's slowly coming together. I'm excited with the way everything is turning out

So i finished these which i'm very excited about, there are 4 in total and I bought different vases for them then the one in this pic. they also have moss covering the wires now. BUT HERE YOU GO

Lights on

Lights off

the inspiration for these came from these lovely crafters

congrats on the wedding Smiley It looks good so far, and wasabi soy almonds? Crazy. I'll have to try to find some here in Toronto.

I love the swallow theme! What font did you use on your invites? It's very pretty without being too fussy.

I LOVE your invitations. Pretty simple, but absolutely gorgeous. If you don't mind me asking, about how much $ are they costing you? I really want to do my invitations myself, but I'm just afraid that after I get paper and embellishments, it's going to add up to a lot and cost even more than ordering them.

I used "Papyrus" as the font, i also liked it because it wasn't too fussy, we are having a backyard wedding with only 50 people, so i didn't want it to feel too fancy

I only had to make 40 invitations, so i wasn't too concerned about price, i'm sure it could be done cheaper than i did it. it cost me about 20$ to get everything printed at staples (5$ for the 50pack of white cardstock at michaels that i brought to staples for them to be printed on). and the brown paper was about 20$, which i could have gotten cheaper had I waited for a sale. I also decided not to use any embellishments but did splurge on metallic teal-seafoam-ish coloured envelopes (19.20 for 40).  So all in all the cost about 1.60 an invitation, but like i said, i'm sure it could be done cheaper.
